The path to a viable analytical solution is not always found in standard methods and testing. Custom Testing Methods

It is not unusual for clients to have novel materials and products that require analysis that is not covered in a standard test protocol such as an ASTM or ISO method. For example, residual solvent testing methods vary widely depending on the base material, the solvents of interest, and the minimum levels allowed in the product. Polymer Solutions Incorporated will develop and document a method specific to the clients needs.

Alternatively, if the client has an internal, supplier, or customer method that they would like PSI to follow in order to certify or qualify a material, this can be done as needed. Custom methods have been developed for titrations, viscosity measurements, mechanical testing, composite blend separations and quantifications, filler analysis, additives analysis, and low level contamination analysis.
