Dilute Solution Viscosity


By measuring the flow time of a polymer solution through a precision capillary, we can measure the viscosity which relates to molecular weight.

Capabilities:


  • Can calculate relative, reduced, inherent and intrinsic viscosities.
  • Provides measure of viscosity average molecular weight (Mv) for polymers.
  • Can be used as a Quality Assurance (QA) check for polymer degradation.
  • Applicable to any soluble polymer, for example: PE, PET, PLGA, PEEK, Nylon.
