Job Opportunity for a Technical Sales Specialist
Polymer Solutions Incorporated is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist whose primary job responsibility is sales. Compensation will include base plus commission and benefits. Limited over-night travel is expected.
Responsibilities:
- The person will work cooperatively with the activities of our Customer Service and Sales Department, our Project Management Department, and our technical and administrative staff.
- Intake and initiation of project opportunities
- Develop project tests and tasks to meet the client’s unique objectives
- Develop and maintain satisfied clients
- Be a client advocate and take ownership of their project during its complete lifecycle
- The person in this position must adhere to a highly professional mixed selling model consisting of relational and consultative methods.
Requirements:
- Candidate should be familiar with the properties, processing, applications, and analysis of plastic and rubber materials.
- At least five years of technical experience is required and an appropriate college degree is preferred. Listening, speaking, and writing skills (English) must be above average.
- Fluency with Spanish (speaking and writing) is a plus.
- Must have experience with failure analysis and/or material or product development
- Wants to be part of a great team - not a Lone Ranger
- Has at least a general understanding of the various test methods that PSI performs
