Calcium Lactate Crystals

SEM micrograph of deposits on the interior of a vaccine bottle at 100,000x magnification. Under SEM magnification, the deposits were discovered to be calcium lactate crystals, indentified by their square bipyramidal crystal shape and the presence of calcium detected by energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS).
