Medical Products Outsourcing Symposium, May 11-13

The staff of Polymer Solutions, Inc., will be attending the Medical Products Outsourcing Symposium (MPO Symposium) from Wednesday, May 11, through Friday, May 13, in lovely San Jose, Costa Rica. As the event’s official website reads,

MPO Symposium is a medical device manufacturing conference that provides a unique platform for learning and networking through carefully selected speakers and topics. MPO Symposium delivers content surrounding the practice of outsourcing in an ever-changing manufacturing environment.

The symposium will include pre-conference, one-on-one meetings with selected manufacturers in the San Jose area on Wednesday afternoon. Participating manufacturers include Hologic, Inc., and Hospira.

On Thursday, the conference sessions are held at the Marriott San Jose. Subjects covered include:

  • Keynote presentation by Costa Rica’s Minister of Foreign Trade, Anabel Gonzalez
  • Revitalizing Manufacturing Throughout the Supply Chain — The Comeback of Lean Techniques
  • How Experts Evaluate Supplier Quality During Outsourcing Decision-making
  • Re-evaluating Outsourcing Options: Which Markets Provide the Most Opportunity?
  • Managing Manufacturing Relationships Across Borders: A Panel Discussion

Later that afternoon, after the sessions end, there will be tours of facilities in San Jose, including Boston Scientific’s edoscopy and cardiovascular operations.

MPO Symposium concludes on Friday with a networking outing at the Valle del Sol golf course and wildlife sanctuary.

We hope you will join us in sunny San Jose. For registration and other information, please visit the Medical Products Outsourcing Symposium website.

The MPO Symposium will be coming to Waltham, Massachusetts, in October. We’ll have more details on that event as we get closer to registration.
