Polyether ether ketone (PEEK) is a very thermally and chemically resistant polymer and requires special preparation before testing.
Polyether ether ketone (PEEK) and other polyaryl ether ketones (PAEK’s) exhibit strong resistance to solvents and are nearly impossible to analyze in their native forms.
By using a reversible derivatization we can make the polymer soluble in organic solvents, which in turn allows us to test the samples. Most notably molecular weight determination by gel permeation chromatography (GPC).
Sample should be in small pieces, our scientists can prepare your sample if necessary.
