WE ARE THE WORLD’S LEADING TESTING, INSPECTION AND CERTIFICATION COMPANY

  • As a trusted world leader, we offer you advanced polymer testing technologies, unrivaled experience and decades of practice across multiple scientific fields
  • We’ll guide you through testing and analysis to meet your objectives precisely
  • Testing requirements can be complicated, beyond regulatory needs we identify potential shortcomings that allow you to make essential changes and avoid costly defects or material failures
  • Our laboratory holds several accreditations and registrations – achieving and maintaining the highest quality standards
  • Analysis

    SEM
Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) can magnify a sample up to 500,000x, this high-resolution imaging is useful for evaluating various materials for surface fractures, corrosion or contaminants.

    SEM-EDS
Used in conjunction with SEM, Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS) provides elemental analysis or chemical characterization of sample surfaces or target examination areas. This may include techniques for material surface analysis, contaminant identification, reverse engineering or failure analysis.

  • What sets us apart from other laboratories?

Our team of industry experts specialize in the “un-routine” by working to solve your most difficult problems through specialty testing and complex investigations. We treat each case individually and are accustomed to taking on cases other labs turn away, even those that deviate from standard test methods.

  • Experience

We've been doing this type of analysis for more than 20 years, during that time we’ve worked with materials like:

    • Bullets
    • Ceramics
    • Children's Toys
    • Composites
    • Filler content from thermoset or thermoplastic materials
    • Films
    • Food packaging
    • Grit and powder residue
    • Medical device products
    • Medical Implants
    • Medical Screws
    • Metal alloy analysis
    • Natural samples, including wood
    • Paint and primer layers
    • Woven Materials

We've provided comprehensive evaluations to determine such things as:

    • Failure analysis
    • Damage analysis
    • Identification of contaminants, unknown powders and residues, coatings and filler content
    • Thickness and composition, film layers
    • Weave structure, specialty medical fabric
    • Particle size analysis and elemental composition of particles
    • Filler content and composition of plastic compound from a potential alternate supplier
    • Litigation support
