Test Smarter – New Technologies Boost Capacity, Precision, Speed and Insight

Whether you’re developing materials, validating product quality, or conducting critical research, we’re investing in the tools that deliver the results you need, when you need them.

We’ve expanded our laboratory with new analytical instrumentation to serve you better. These technologies enhance our ability to deliver superior material characterization, better flow and deformation behaviors in liquids and gels, and perform detailed non-contact 3D surface profiling on complex materials. With the addition of the DSC250 Thermal Analyzer, HR 20 Rheometer, and VR 6200 Optical Profilometer, we’ve increased our testing capacity delivering greater data reliability and enhancing laboratory workflows and productivity.

High-precision thermal characterization and faster turnaround times with new DSC 250 thermal analyzer.

Our new DSC 250 is up and running, enhancing laboratory workflows and productivity for DSC Testing. From glass transition temperatures to melting points, crystallization behavior to heat capacity, we uncover the data that defines your material – with resolution and accuracy you can rely on.

In addition to enhanced performance and unmatched data integrity, one of the most practical innovations this instrument offers is the integrated auto-sampler. Our lab can process up to 54 samples in a single automated sequence – minimizing sample load time and accelerating testing. This will deliver faster turnaround for our customers, among other benefits:

  • Comprehensive Data: Detailed reports on thermal properties like Tg, Tm, enthalpy, and more.
  • Flexible Options: Single-sample testing or high-volume runs, tailored to your project scale.
  • Quicker Results: Auto-sampler efficiencies allow for faster project turnaround, without sacrificing accuracy.

Advanced rheological analysis – from simple fluids to complex thermoplastics, gels, and emulsions.

The addition of the Discovery HR 20 Rheometer expands our ability to generate high-precision Rheological Testing data for fluids and thermoplastic polymers. With industry-leading sensitivity, we can accurately measure viscosity, viscoelasticity, and flow characteristics – including shear thinning, yield stress, and melt behavior across a range of temperatures and shear conditions.

Customers will benefit from its versatility since it can test low-viscosity liquids to complex polymer melts and support an array of testing requirements for formulation optimization, product consistency, and advanced material development. Whether you’re focused on R&D, process engineering, or quality control, this instrument enables precise characterization tailored to many applications.

  • Fluids: Characterize emulsions, suspensions, or lubricants to understand flow behavior and stability with precision.
  • Thermoplastics: Analyze melt viscosity, elasticity, and processing performance for polymers that shape your products.
  • Product Development: Fine-tune formulations with detailed viscoelastic data.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify consistency across batches, from raw materials to finished goods.

Protect your delicate samples with next-generation surface profiling – precise, efficient, and contact-free.

The VR-6200 is a fully automated 3D optical profilometer engineered for high-resolution, non-contact surface measurement. Unlike traditional stylus-based systems, the VR-6200 captures full-surface data at an impressive 0.1 µm resolution – without touching, cutting, or altering your sample.

Optical Profilometry Testing enhances quality control across polymers, coatings, composites and more and is ideal for delicate samples and intricate geometries while enabling detailed, non-destructive surface analysis for:

  • Height and depth variations
  • Surface roughness and waviness
  • Step height, flatness, curvature, and micro-feature dimensions
  • Texture and microstructure characterization
